MISSION STATEMENT AND GUIDELINES

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Communications Committee is to assist the MTHOA Board in providing clear, timely and accurate information from the Board to our residents relative to actions taken or under consideration by the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities under the Covenants.Furthermore, we seek to foster a sense of community that will enhance the quality of life of our residents. We will spread awareness of events and activities in or around our community that are of interest to our members.

GUIDELINES

  1. The News and Views and the MTHOA website are the official media of the Board. No commercial advertising is permitted in our media.

  2. The vehicle for communication between members of the community and the Board is a written or verbal request to speak at a Board meeting or a signed letter/ e-mail sent to the Board.

  3. The Committee will develop standards for software between communications media and an e-mail system for use only by the Board to provide the fastest possible information to our members.

  4. The Committee will recommend to the Board such changes in format, frequency, and content which they believe will enhance the flow of information from the Board and it’s committees to the community.
